The post bolt is the longer of the two fixings in a crash barrier build. It passes through the beam and the post to hold the run to its supports, while the shorter lap bolt joins beam to beam at the overlaps.

How many will I need?

Count the beam to post connections in your layout and order to suit, with a few spare. Every beam meets a post at each end and beams overlap at the posts, so fixing counts follow the number of posts rather than the number of beams. If you are pricing a full run and want it checked, send us the layout and we will work the quantities out with you.
