Railings built to playground safety requirements — bar spacing that won't trap a child's head, and no sharp tops or gaps that can catch clothing.

On this site, "play spec" refers to the Play Spec Bow Top Railings range and, as an option, the Railing Gates line — both intended to meet the design guidance commonly used for fencing around schools and play areas. Standard bow top is explicitly listed as not suitable for that use, which is the reason the play spec range exists as a separate product line.
