Adjustable gas strut gate closer for gates up to 80kg and leaves up to 2500 x 1200mm. Force is set by moving the strut along its brackets, not by releasing gas.

A closing strut is the simple answer to a gate that gets left open. It pulls the leaf shut on its own, with no hydraulics to set up and nothing to power, and on a pedestrian gate it is a fraction of the cost of a proper closer.

Strut or hydraulic closer?

A strut suits a light pedestrian leaf inside its 80kg limit. Above that, or where the closing speed has to be controlled properly, go to a hydraulic closer: the welded APS kit or the screw fixed APSW, both rated to 150kg.
