Weld mesh

Steel wires laid in a grid and welded at every crossing, making a rigid sheet. The basis of every panel mesh fencing system, from light boundary to prison grade.

Also called: welded mesh, weldmesh

Weld mesh is steel wire laid out in a grid and welded at every crossing point, producing a rigid sheet rather than a woven fabric. It is the basis of every rigid panel fencing system we sell, from light uniform mesh up to 358 prison mesh.

Sold as rolls it is a general-purpose material — animal enclosures, screening, infill, reinforcement — in heights from 900mm to 2.4m, with lighter gauges available in 1 inch and half inch grids. As fencing panels it becomes a system, with the aperture and wire diameter setting the security grade.
