Gatemaster 40 bolt on deadlock is available to buy in increments of 1
Drill 2 x 11mm holes at 92mm centres for
M10 fixing bolts and 1 x 22mm hole at 22mm
centres from top fixing hole. For box section
frames open out the 11mm holes in the outer
wall of the box section to 17mm diameter to
allow the M10 bolt to pass into the box to
secure the lock. After fixing, press the cover
plugs supplied into the 17mm holes.
18mm diameter stainless steel deadbolt moves 40mm when
deadlocked ensuring substantial engagement into the gate
post.
Lateral force resistance – exceeds 20,000N
End pressure resistance – 4134N, over 3 times BS3621
The lock body is secured with two M10 high tensile machine
screws. The fixing design, whereby the deadbolt passes
through the gate frame, transfers any lateral force from the
fixing bolts to the deadbolt.
A range of high security antidrill eurocylinders is available to
ensure the desired cylinder integrity is achieved.
Product life – ongoing real life testing has proved that the
GATEMASTER 40 deadlock has a product life in excess of 15
years. Tested in laboratory conditions to 50,000 cycles.
